Ihr Vater heißt Nageswara Rao und verdient 3.000 Rs/Jahr

Ein Auszug aus Ihren Bio-Datas:

Katti is the only child to her young mother. She is studying in local school run by ASSIST for the village children. Unfortunately her father left her mother and married another woman. Since then Katti’s mother is living alone with her only daughter. Her mother (Kattis Oma) is an illiterate and a young widow. She became a widow at the age of 22 years. She (Kattis Mutter) was living by working in different families. She was living with her daughter in a very small hut but now a small house is constructed with your help and she is living in it. Katti expresses to continue her studies without break in between. Katti wants to be a teacher in her life and teach baby class children.

Bei dem Besuch meines Vaters im April '06 hat er sie als lustiges, aufgewecktes Mädchen kennengelernt.

Stand Ende 2008:

Kathi wants to study well in order to become a nurse to serve the poor patients in her tiny village. She helps her mother in the domestic works before going to school. She feels sad that her mother works hard for her. She is only the child to her mother. Her father deserted her mother when she is a month�s baby. She is studying 4th class in Government Elementary school. She likes to play skipping rope and ring games with her classmates. She likes to learn swimming, if there is any possibility. She is very active child and able to grasp things fast. She likes to visit temples in the state of Andhra Pradesh during school holidays time. She likes to wear pink, green and yellow colour dresses. She likes to eat the food whatever is prepared by her mother. Naga Lakshmi is happy to go to school, because she has many friends there.

Mit Vianney (ASSIST) beim Unterschreiben des Acceptence-Letters am 18.06.04

Hier der von uns gesponserte Trinkwasser-Brunnen für ein ganzes Dorf (2005):

Nach der Tsunami-Katastrophe,  haben wir 1.600 Euro gespendet (2005).
Unter anderem wurden davon Betten, Decken, Kochtöpfe und Kleider gekauft.

Hier seht Ihr Katti und Ihre Mutter mit ein paar der gespendeten Gegenstände:

Mein Vater hat von seinem Indienbesuch (April 06) Fotos von dem ebenfalls gespendeten Haus und von Katti in einem von uns gespendeten Kleid mitgebracht. Die habe ich aber noch nicht digitalisieren können.

Kattis Vater hat die Familie verlassen.
